This assessment agency is dedicated to the skills assessment of the professions related to management, arts, science, social science, finance, and many other fields. Vetassess maintains a specific list of occupations for which it does skills assessment according to the list published by Home Affairs for different Visa categories. This agency does skills assessment for both professional occupations as well as trades class people.

The skills assessment at Vetassess for different nominated occupations is done for migrations purposes generally.

CLASSESS

Classes of Skills Assessment

Vetassess has two distinct classes available for skills assessment for you depending on your qualifications and experience. The two classes are called Trades Class (Class 1) and Professional Class (Class 2).

Trades Class (Class 1)

In this class of skills assessment, all the trade related workers such as Welder, Cook, Chef, Carpenter, Fitter etc. can get their skills assessment done. This class is understood as an experience-based assessment predominantly. Both your qualification and professional experience in your nominated profession matter for skills assessment as a trade person. If you have a qualification of Certificate III or IV in your trade, you will require 3-year work experience minimum out of which you should have worked 1-year full time with proper payment proofs. If you don’t have a qualification, you should have a minimum of 5 years work experience out of which you should have worked 1 year or more full time in last 3 years with proper payment proofs.

Professional Class (Class 2)

In this class of skills assessment, all the professional occupations are listed such as Marketing Specialist, Management Consultant, Market Research Analyst, Microbiologist, Biotechnologist, Life Scientist etc. For most of these professions, a 4-year bachelor degree is required in the nominated profession. The management related professions usually require Bachelor of Business Administration or Marketing related degree. Similarly, bachelor degree in science is required for science related professions. In addition to the degree, 1 year work experience in last five years with proper payment proofs is mandatory requirement for eligibility.
